Receiving an award on behalf of your school is always special. It becomes more special if you could share the joy of the moment with the people who traveled along with you to reach that milestone.
Kendriya Vidyalaya Pattom received the ‘Reading4Pleasure School Award-2020’, instituted by Food4Thought Foundation. The Award was presented at the 10th Edition of Hyderabad Literary Festival on 26 January 2020. It recognises the schools at the national level for promoting reading habit or joy of reading based on innovations, membership, etc.
This award symbolizes the joy and belonging of hundreds of students over the years who loved KV Pattom library and made it a dynamic and happening social space in the school. I am sure, that this space was and has been always filled with wired ideas and happy moments, facilitated through a number of unique initiatives. So, here is Ms Aajma Manoj, now a student at EFLU, Hyderabad, who represents the people who always cherish and love to tell their library stories. Thank you for sharing the joy of the moment. You made it memorable.
This award also recognizes the relentless support extended to the library by the Principals over a decade. Special thanks to Ajayakumar sir for his continuing guidance and inspiration which will definitely bring more changes. Congratulations to all teachers and staff who co-operate and collaborate with the library. Your support is priceless.
Thanks to Food4Thought Foundation for this great recognition. Grateful to KVS and KV Pattom for giving this wonderful opportunity to serve. Always proud to be a part of this great legacy of excellence.
