‘Face a Book Challenge’, a readers’ own project which won the Innovation Award

‘Face a Book Challenge’, a popular reading challenge programme launched by KV Pattom library in 2014 has won the KVS National Innovation and Experimentation Award 2016. It is really a proud moment for all nearly 170 FaB Challengers (of all the three editions together) and a group of teachers who loved to read more and inspire others towards books. Intelligent book reviews, beautiful ‘little books’, thoughtful assembly programmes, wonderful one minute book talk videos and a project website which showcased everything, the FaB Challenge was really a unique experience. The Award is a definitive testimony to the sheer passion demonstrated by all the FaB Challengers.
