Twittering Libraries

Many libraries use twitter as one of their publicity and information tool. the concepts of followers and following is the lifeline of Twitter through which the messages disseminate. We have started an account for library on twitter and got some followers for our feeds.

when I searched for twittering libraries, I landed on many. Some have been using it for sending alerts to users regarding new arrivals and reminders. Some use it as a public profile page for the library as a publicity tool. in both ways it is useful. Since you have been just entering messages with a limit of 140 words, this micro blogging platform is worthy for libraries.
